Bio Applications View

This view is only available for images which have been analyzed by a Bio Application and if you have the license for the Bio Applications toolkit. Here you can see the result of the image analysis conducted by the Bio Application and you have a table and plot section to see the result data of the analysis. The information displayed by the plots and table is specific for each application.

Image View
Displays the currently selected image of your analyzed image document as well as the masking objects of the analysis (depending on the settings done in the Objects tab).

Result Chart
Displays the chart for the analysis results of the Bio Application. The chart type and the Measurement features displayed on the axis can be set in the Chart view options tab.

Result Table
Displays the table with the results of the analysis.

View Options
Displays general view options as well as Bio Application specific options.

Export Tab

This tab enables you to export various results of your Bio Applications analysis.

Parameter

Description

Image

Activated: Selects the current result image for export with the format selected in the dropdown.

Table

Activated: Selects the currently displayed table for export with the format selected in the dropdown.

Chart

Activated: Selects the currently displayed chart for export with the format selected in the dropdown. The resolution for the exported charts is 300 dpi.

Width (pixel)

Sets the width for the exported chart in pixel.

Height (pixel)

Sets the height for the exported chart in pixel.

Maintain aspect ratio

Activated: A change of the width or height automatically results in a change of the other factor to maintain the aspect ratio of the plot currently displayed in the Bio Applications result view.
Deactivated: The aspect ratio is not maintained. Width and height can be set independently.

Processing Info

Activated: Selects the current processing information for export with the format selected in the dropdown.

Export

Opens the file browser to export all the selected result documents.

Objects Tab

Parameter

Description

Show Objects

Activated: Displays the resulting mask of the analysis in the image.

Object Display

Sets how the masks are displayed in the image.

Fill

Displays the masking objects as filled objects.

Outline

Displays the masking objects as an outline.

Opacity

Sets the opacity of the objects in the image.

Show All

Activated: Displays all region classes in the image.
Deactivated: Displays only the region class selected in the dropdown.

Region Class Dropdown

Selects the region class for which the chart and table is displayed.

Chart Tab

Parameter

Description

Data

Selects if the displayed results in the table and chart are for the entire carrier, or a single scene.

Entire Carrier

Displays the results of the entire carrier.

Single Scene

Displays the results for a single scene. The chart can be toggled between histogram and xy-plot.

Chart Type

Selects which chart type is displayed.

Histogram

Only visible if Single Scene is selected.
Displays a histogram.

XY-Plot

Only visible if Single Scene is selected.
Displays an xy-plot.

Heatmap (Single Time Point)

Only visible if Entire Carrier is selected and the image has multiple time points.
Displays a heatmap for the current time point. To go to another time point, use the Time control on the Dimensions tab.

Line (Total Time Range)

Only visible if Entire Carrier is selected and the image has multiple time points.
Displays a line chart with the data of the total time range.

Measurement

Only visible if Entire Carrier is selected.
Selects which measurement results are displayed in the heatmap.

Measurement Range

Only visible if Entire Carrier is selected.
Selects how the measurement range displayed in the chart is defined.

Fit to Whole Data Set

Fits the range to the data of the whole image.

Fit to Single Time Point

Fits the range to the data of the current time point.

Define Manually

Allows you to define the range manually.

X-Axis

Only visible if Single Scene or Line (Total Time Range) is selected.
Selects which value is used for the x-axis of the chart.

Y-Axis

Only visible if Single Scene and XY-Plot, or Line (Total Time Range) is selected.
Selects which measurement feature is used for the y-axis of the chart.
