In this dialog you can specify which features are measured with the available graphical elements.

Available Elements Section

This section displays all available graphical elements ordered by type. The following types are available for selection:

Element Type

Description

Region 2D

Displays graphical elements you can use to define a closed region.

Line

Displays graphical elements you can use to measure a single distance.

Lines

Displays graphical elements you can use to measure several distances at once.

Angle

Displays graphical elements you can use to measure an angle.

Point

Displays graphical elements you can use to perform measurements at a pixel.

Points

Displays graphical elements you can use to count various events in an image.

Selected Features Section

This section displays the features that you selected for the currently selected graphical element. These features are then measured when the element is drawn into the image. To add a new feature to the element, double click the feature in the list on the right, or select it and click .

Parameter

Description

Name

Displays the name of the feature.

Display

Activated: The measured value of the feature is displayed in the graphics plane of the image.


Delete

Deletes the selected feature.


Upwards

Moves the selected feature one position higher.


Downwards

Moves the selected feature one position lower.

Features Section

This section displays a list with all the features that are available for measuring the selected graphical element. For a description of individual measurement features, see Measurement Features.

Search Features

Here you can enter parts of the name of the feature that you are looking for. The features in which the entered character string occurs are listed.

Select a type of feature according to which you want the features to be filtered from the dropdown list.

All features that analyze intensity values are listed.

Image Features

All features that contain meta information about the measured image are listed.

Position Features

All features that describe the position are listed.

Geometric Features Unscaled

All features that describe unscaled geometric features.

All features that describe unscaled positions are listed.

Polygon-based Features

All features polygon-based features are listed.

Statistical Features

All features that can be used for plotting in a heatmap (i.e. that provide statistical values suitable for heatmap plotting) are listed.
