There are two main hardware requirements to use Direct Processing.

1. In case more than one PC is being used, it is required that the n >=2 PCs can communicate with each other. This may happen in a network, for example.
2. Both PCs need to share a common network drive, as they need to be able to read and write data on this drive. Since Direct Processing is working on a shared common folder, there is no fixed bandwidth requirement.

Graphic cards

All released ZEISS workstations for use of Deconvolution are equipped with a sufficiently large GPU. Deconvolution uses GPU acceleration, so a dedicated Nvidia CUDA based graphic card is optimal and recommended. ZEN has been tested with professional grade Nvidia Quadro GPU (P6000, P4000, M6000, M4000 and RTX6000). The use of Nvidia Geforce grade GPU should also be possible, but is not extensively tested. The other processing methods in Direct Processing, such as Airyscan/Apotome processing and denoising use CPU and not GPU.

The drivers need to be compatible with Windows 10.
