Input Data for AI Tissue Detection
An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has been trained to detect fluorescence stained tissue on slides in the Axioscan prescan images using transmitted light observation. The ANN is optimized for images with the following specification:
- Transmitted light with 5x0.25 objective lens.
- Condenser aperture maximally closed (0.07).
- Axiocam 820m camera and 0.8x camera adapter.
- Focused roughly with +/- 200µm.
- Optimally ~8500 px x 3500 px of 820m camera: Binning 5x5 (HW) + 2x2 (SW) optimal.
- Gain: 1x
- Good shading correction.
