1. You are on the Locate tab.
  1. Click the Live button to open the live image.
  2. The button changes to a Stop button during a live image.
  3. Look for a suitable position on the sample.
  4. Click Stop to switch off the live image.
  1. You have made all necessary preparations to acquire an image with manual EDF. You can now continue by acquiring an EDF image using one of two modes, see Acquiring EDF Images with Timer or Acquiring EDF Images with F12 Key.
