1. You have credentials to administer the Keycloak realm of your arivis Hub DMS.
2. You have all necessary information of your Active Directory environment.

1. In your browser, enter the address of your server and add /auth/, for example https://myarivisHubDMS/auth/. Then click Enter.
2. The login page is displayed.
2. Enter the credentials for the user with administrative privileges and click Sign In.
3. You are logged in and the master realm is displayed.
3. In the drop-down list of the left menu bar, select arivisHub.
4. Keycloak switches to the arivisHub realm.
4. In the menu bar on the left, click User federation.
5. The page for User federation is displayed. For detailed information, also refer to the documentation by Keycloak, see https://www.keycloak.org/docs/latest/server_admin/index.html#_user-storage-federation.
5. Click Add Ldap providers.
6. The page Add Ldap provider opens.
6. Enter all the necessary information of your Active Directory environment and make all necessary settings, then click Save.

1. You have set up your arivis Hub DMS installation for logins with Active Directory.
2. After setting up the Active Directory, the imported users need to be assigned to a group so they receive the correct permissions, see Adding Users to a Group. Users that are not members of any group will not have the appropriate permissions and therefore cannot properly access arivis Hub DMS.
