Adding and Editing Objects
Keyboard Shortcuts
For a description of available keyboard shortcuts, see the help menu in the Left Toolbar.
- You have opened an image, see Opening an Image in the Image Viewer.
- Open the Objects Menu in the left toolbar.
- The object controls are displayed.
- Select an object you want to draw into the image, e.g. a rectangle.
- You enter the drawing mode.
- Go into your image and draw a rectangle by clicking into the image.
- The object shape is displayed in the image.
- If necessary, adapt the shape by dragging and dropping the position handles of the object. When finished, click Save.
- The object is added to the image. It is also added to the object list in the menu and grouped into the currently selected tag.
- The text box of the object displays the different features of the object, e.g. the Name and different measured values like the Perimeter. Which and how features are displayed can be set in the Settings, see Image Viewer Settings.
- If you want to edit an existing object, select the object in the list and click the edit icon.
- You enter the drawing mode.
- Change the object shape and click Save.
- You have edited the respective object.
- To change the color or opacity of objects, click on the color field of the tag.
- A color dialog is displayed.
- Change the color or the opacity (the α value) and click Apply.
- The color or opacity changes are applied.
