Show as channel split

Activates the split view to display all channels in individual image containers. The last one shows the combined image with all channels. The currently selected image is highlighted with a blue frame, and in this view panning and zooming is synchronized. Note that this view is limited to 15 channels and it is not possible to add objects.

Single channel mode

Activating this mode displays only one channel of the image. You can switch between the different channels by clicking on the respective channel. in this mode, all Channel Settings apply only to this single channel.

Channel name and color

Displays all channels of the image. Clicking the channel name opens a color palette. The selected color is automatically displayed in the image area.

Channel selection

Selects the channel for which you want to adjust the settings. You can either select one individual channel, or All Channels.

Min max

Adjusts the display characteristic curve in a way that the darkest pixel is black, and the brightest pixel is white in the display.

Best fit

Adjusts the display characteristic curve in a way that 0.1% of the darkest pixels contained in the image are black and 0.1% of the brightest pixels are white in the display.

Histogram

The histogram shows the brightness distribution of the pixels that are present from all channels simultaneously. The y-axis represents the relative frequency, and the x-axis indicates the brightness. A curve showing the corresponding distribution, the display characteristic curve, is displayed for each channel. If you open the histogram while in Single Channel Mode, the histogram only displays the information for the selected channel.

Histogram slider

Displays and sets the black and white value with the slider or input fields. The histogram graph is updated accordingly.

Black

The left slider handle or input field sets the gray value for which all pixels are shown as black with.

White

The right slider handle or input field sets the gray value for which all pixels are shown as white.

Bit depth

Sets the bit depth.

Auto

Sets the bit depth to the automatic default value.
