If you have a csv file with metadata, you can upload the csv file and apply metadata changes to the files within the current project or folder. Note that you can use this upload only to modify the metadata information, the first three columns of the csv (Id;Name;Path) are for identifying the files and cannot be updated. Also ensure that all fields of the csv file are separated by a semicolon and that the file is formatted correctly.

  1. You have a csv with metadata you want to upload.
  1. Navigate to the project and folder where you want to upload the information, and click the context menu icon for the project or folder.
  2. The context menu is displayed.
  3. Click Export/Import metadata as CSV.
  4. A dialog is displayed.
  5. Click Upload CSV.
  6. A file browser opens.
  7. Select the csv file and click Open.
  8. The metadata is uploaded and applied to images according to the csv.
  9. If errors or problems occur during the upload, a Copy Details button is displayed which allows you to copy a detailed report to the clipboard.
