1. You have installed the uploader tool.
2. You have a project created and available on arivis Hub DMS.

1. Start the application.
2. The Connect screen is displayed.
2. Enter the url of your server and click Connect. Activate Connect automatically on start if you want to save your credentials and be logged in automatically each time the application starts.
3. The login screen is displayed.
3. Enter your User Name and Password, then click Sign In.
   Note that the user account must have sufficient access rights to upload documents.

4. Open the Settings page.

5. For Watched folder, select the folder where the images that should be uploaded are located.

6. To delete the images after a successful upload, activate Delete uploaded files. If it is deactivated, all successfully uploaded files are placed in a subfolder Uploaded of the watched folder.

9. For Waiting time to consolidate files, define the time in seconds the uploader should wait after a file is newly created or modified in the watched folder. This helps to prevent premature uploads of incomplete files. You can reduce the waiting time for faster uploads, or increase it when, for example, acquiring images at slow speed.

10. If you want to preserve the subfolders of the currently watched folder, make sure Preserve local folder structure is activated.
11. All uploaded files will be moved to the folder for uploaded data, the folders are not moved.
11. In the Add to project or folder dropdown, select the project or folder to which the uploaded images should be added.

12. To directly add tags to uploaded images, activate Enable.

13. Enter a tag name and press Enter.
14. The tag is created and will be added to every uploaded image.

1. The settings are validated. If there are any invalid settings, an error message is displayed. Otherwise, you have now set up the arivis Hub DMS Uploader and the application starts to upload the files from the drop folder to arivis Hub DMS.
2. The uploaded images are only accessible by users with proper access rights.
