Object Tools

Offers tools to draw objects into the image. The tools also allow freeform drawing on the image, and the possibility to modify (parts of) some freely drawn object.

Select and Pan

Enables you to pan and select objects in the image.

Rectangle

Enables you to draw a rectangle into the image.

Ellipse

Enables you to draw an ellipse into the image.

Polygon

Enables you to draw a polygon into the image.

Measure

Enables you to draw a measurement line into the image.

Brush

Allows freeform drawing in the image.

Eraser

Allows you to remove some parts of your freeform drawing.

Discard

Only available if you have drawn an object.
Cancels the operation and removes the object from the image.

Save

Only available if you have drawn an object.
Saves the drawn object and adds it to the objects list below.

Autofill holes

Activated: Atomically fills the holes in freeform drawing.

Exports a list of all objects, the features, and their values as a .csv file.

+ Add tag

Adds a new tag to the Object List.

Features

Toggles the visibility of the features of the individual objects.

Object List

Displays a list with tags and objects. A tag is the highest element in the list hierarchy under which individual objects are grouped. The currently displayed objects in the list are the ones of the selected tag. All objects that are drawn into the image are always added to the currently selected tag.

Double clicking the name of a tag or object enables you to rename it (the Default tag cannot be renamed, however). The individual objects have the same color as the tag, in the list as well as the image viewer. A click into the color field of a tag opens a window to select and change the color and the opacity (α value).

Toggles the view of objects of a specific tag. The button on top of the list toggles the visibility of all objects.

Deletes the respective object or tag. If you delete an entire tag, all the individual objects of that tag are also deleted.

Focuses the respective object in the image viewer.

Enables you to edit the shape of the respective object.

plane-wise loading

Only available for images with multiple planes.
Activated: Loads only the objects of the currently displayed plane.
