Welcome Screen

Reopening

After you have exited this screen, you can reopen it by clicking File > Show Welcome Screen, if necessary.

1	Overview Area In this area you can get a general overview for ZEN, see Overview Area.
2	Recently Opened List Here you have list with recently opened data. Clicking an entry opens the respective file in ZEN and closes this window.
3	Start Buttons With these buttons you can start by opening existing documents or create new ones, see Start Buttons.

What's new	Opens the browser to show you what is new in this version of ZEN.
Learn & Support	Opens the browser to display the site with support and learning material for ZEN.
Do not show this at startup	Activated: The Welcome Screen is not displayed on startup anymore. You can also change this setting in Tools > Options >Startup/Shutdown > Welcome Screen.

Parameter	Description
Open File	Opens a file browser to select an already existing file you want to open in ZEN.
Acquire New Image	Only visible if you have started a profile with acquisition. Closes the Welcome Screen to allow the setup of a new acquisition.
Create Project	Opens the New ZEN Connect Project dialog to create a new ZEN Connect project.
