The following guide shows how to move the standard folders for documents, images and the desktop from drive C:\ (Operating System) to drive D:\ (User Data). This prevents images and documents from being stored on the small system drive. The access rights and restrictions are retained. If additional Windows user accounts are created, it is recommended to use this procedure for them as well.
- Use of drive C: for operating system, programs, swap file (pagefile.sys, SWAP)
- Use of drive D: for user data (images, documents,...)
